Congratulations to Roger Penrose

The HPP extends its warm congratulations to Sir Roger Penrose on winning the 2020 Nobel Prize for Physics, as well as to Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez to whom the prize was jointly awarded. In addition to his pioneering work in mathematics and physics, Professor Penrose is is a vocal supporter of the continuing importance of philosophical for scientific research.
