NGRE Fellow: Martyna Iwanicka

Martyna Iwanicka is a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Warsaw, Poland. She graduated with a master’s degree in philosophy (Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in Humanities) from Jagiellonian University. Her doctoral research focuses on phenomenology and psychoanalysis in the context of therapeutic transference. She is interested in the philosophy of psychiatry and psychotherapy. She was awarded by NGRE a visiting fellowship at the Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford, during the Trinity Term 2023. She is also currently employed at The Volunteer Centre of The University of Warsaw, where she is responsible for internal communication in the UNICOMM project and coordinating the club for neurodiverse students.
